Account Director, Precision Marketing
Role Purpose
The Senior Account Director, Precision Marketing, is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing key healthcare marketing accounts, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional client service. In this role, you will harness data-driven insights and strategic marketing expertise to elevate patient acquisition and engagement across high-value service lines such as orthopedics, cardiology, Medicare Advantage, and health system-owned pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities
Account Leadership + Client Strategy
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor and relationship manager for a portfolio of premier healthcare marketing clients.
- Develop comprehensive strategies and creative briefs that define goals, target audiences, key messages, and multi-channel communications plans.
- Lead high-level discussions and presentations with client executives to drive growth and maximize campaign impact.
Data-Driven Insights + Persona Development
- Collaborate with the DHS data team to interpret complex datasets, develop actionable insights, and refine data clusters into distinct personas.
- Ensure marketing strategies are underpinned by robust data analysis and industry trends.
Campaign Oversight + Creative Development
- Oversee end-to-end management of creative communications campaigns, ensuring alignment with client brands and regulatory standards.
- Guide the creative process to develop innovative, multi-channel messaging, including automated email and direct mail nurturing journeys.
Operational Excellence + Testing
- Champion the integration of A/B testing and other optimization techniques to continuously refine campaign performance.
- Manage budgets and account scopes to ensure efficient resource allocation and maximum ROI.
Team Leadership + Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of account managers and marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Play an active role in DHS internal meetings, training initiatives, and cross-functional workgroups to drive best practices and process improvements.
Healthcare + Regulatory Expertise
- Maintain a deep understanding of healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory considerations, ensuring all campaigns comply with necessary guidelines.
About You
Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in marketing, with significant exposure to agency client management and strategic planning in the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record in leading high-stakes marketing campaigns and managing complex client relationships at a senior level.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or related field) is preferred.
Technical + Strategic Skills
- Advanced proficiency in data interpretation (Excel, pivot tables, etc.) and experience leveraging data to drive marketing strategy.
- Demonstrated expertise in persona development, creative communications, and multi-channel campaign execution.
- Experience with A/B testing, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Industry Knowledge
- A strong background in healthcare marketing is highly desired.
- Experience with digital tools and platforms for direct-to-consumer communications is a significant asset.
